RAMDDA Student Arrives at the University of the Free State

The Research and Academic Mobility for Drug Discovery in Africa (RAMDDA) project has reached another important milestone with the arrival of Ms Dumisile Matsala at the University of the Free State (UFS), South Africa, on Monday, 10 August 2026, to pursue her PhD studies in Organic Chemistry.

Upon her arrival, Ms Matsala was warmly received by the RAMDDA team at UFS, marking the beginning of her academic and research journey at the institution.

Her mobility forms part of RAMDDA’s broader commitment to strengthening postgraduate training, research capacity, and academic mobility among partner universities across Africa. Through such opportunities, the project seeks to develop highly skilled scientists and strengthen collaborative research in drug discovery and related areas.

The RAMDDA consortium wishes Ms Dumisile Matsala a productive and successful academic journey at the University of the Free State.
