RAMDDA is committed to providing support to scholarship holders before, during, and after their mobility period. Support is coordinated through the RAMDDA consortium, host institutions, home institutions, and designated institutional focal persons.
1. Languages of Instruction
The language of instruction for all programmes offered under RAMDDA is English.

Applicants whose previous degree was not taught in English may be required to provide evidence of English language proficiency in accordance with the admission requirements of the host institution.
Some host universities may request applicants to submit language test results such as GRE, IELTS, or TOEFL.
2. Student Support Information
Orientation and Induction
All scholarship holders will receive orientation upon arrival at the host institution. Orientation covers:
- Academic regulations
- Registration procedures
- Campus facilities
- Health and safety information
- Banking and financial procedures
- Cultural adaptation
Visa and Immigration Support
RAMDDA and the host institution will provide:
- Admission letters
- Scholarship award letters
- Supporting documentation for visa applications
- Guidance on residence permit requirements
Please note that visa approval remains the responsibility of the relevant immigration authorities.
Accommodation Support
Host institutions will assist scholarship holders in identifying suitable accommodation, including:
- University residences, where available
- Private accommodation options
- Guidance on accommodation arrangements prior to arrival
Academic Support and Mentorship
Each scholarship holder will be assigned:
- Academic supervisor(s)
- Academic advisor or mentor
- Departmental support contacts
Students will receive ongoing academic guidance throughout their mobility period.
Health and Well-being Support
Students will have access to:
- Student counselling services
- Health and wellness facilities
- Student support offices
- Referral services where required
Support for Persons with Special Needs
