Three Batswana students have arrived in Ethiopia to begin their two-year Master of Science studies, marking an important step in strengthening academic mobility and collaboration between Botswana and Ethiopia under the RAMDDA initiative.
Ms Maatla Tsalaele will pursue her MSc studies at Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU), while Ms Neiso Banogi and Ms Bonno will undertake their MSc studies at Addis Ababa University (AAU).

Their arrival reflects the growing opportunities for postgraduate training and academic exchange between African universities. During their two-year stay in Ethiopia, the students will have the opportunity to advance their academic and research skills, interact with scholars and fellow students from different backgrounds, and experience the rich cultural and academic environment of Ethiopia.
We warmly congratulate the three students on reaching this important milestone and wish them a successful, productive, and enjoyable two-year stay in Ethiopia. We look forward to seeing them make the most of this opportunity and return to Botswana with enhanced knowledge, research experience, and professional networks.
We wish Maatla, Neiso, and Bonno every success in their MSc studies and their academic journey in Ethiopia.
